Descriptions
Gear Drive Rotary Scrubber is a self generated rotary drum scrubber, which uses pebbles and rocks in the feed source to break and decompose clay, aggregates and soft oxides. The washer rotates slowly, like a huge washing machine. It stirs fine particles, super particles and water together, effectively destroys the soil matrix and releases the target minerals from hard clay, schist and rock. The crushed material is evenly slurried in the drum, and the self generated load is retained in the drum through reverse flight at the discharge end of the drum. Mud and washed oversized particles overflow to the discharge throat of the cylinder and enter the concentric outlet drum.
The slurry material enters the drum and is scrubbed in the drum, the soil matrix is broken and the target minerals are released. The material is then screened through a rotary screen and the waste is discharged. The screened material is then conveyed to the thickener for upgrading. Gear Drive Rotary Scrubber is the main washing equipment in mining industry, which is widely used for washing viscous clay minerals. Such as viscous clay, gold, diamond, tin, chromium, tantalum and niobium processing plants.
