How trommel screen work

How rotary scrubber work?
Feed Material Introduction:
Crushed rock, ore, sand, gravel, construction aggregates, or oil sands are introduced into the rotary scrubber.
The feed material can be of large size, as rotary scrubbers are designed to accept high-capacity and high-retention feeds.
Drum Rotation and Material Tumbling:
The cylindrical drum of the rotary scrubber rotates.

Separation and Dewatering:
Optional trommel screen extensions can be added to provide rough product separation, screening, and dewatering capabilities.
The cleaned material is then discharged from the rotary scrubber, while the contaminants are washed away.
The capacity of the rotary scrubber is determined by various factors, including the type of feed material, the percentage and type of waste material to be removed, screen analysis of the feed, available water, and specified retention time.
Retention time in a rotary scrubber can vary depending on the type and amount of contaminants present in the feed material.
Rotary scrubbers are primarily used for the removal of loam, light clays, and soft, soluble waste materials from aggregates, stone, and ore. They are not intended to replace log washers in applications where tough plastic clays are present, as these clays may pelletize through the tumbling action and not be effectively removed.
