Gold Clay Rotary Drum Scrubber
Rotary Drum Scrubber, also named trommel scrubber, is core washing equipment for clay-bearing alluvial deposits. Raw ore mixes with water inside the rotating drum. The internal lifters lift and drop materials continuously, generating strong impact and friction to break agglomerated clay. High-pressure water sprays strip mud coating from mineral grains. After scrubbing, materials go through the screen section for size separation. Fine slurry with gold/tin enters concentration equipment, while oversize waste rock is discharged directly.

Heavy-duty tyre-driven rotary drum scrubber serves as core pre-washing equipment for clay-rich placer ore. It disintegrates sticky clay lumps via autogenous friction between ores, liberating tinstone, fine gold and other heavy minerals trapped inside mud. This machine integrates scrubbing, water washing and screening into one unit. It is widely deployed for alluvial gold, residual alluvial tin ore, chromite and ilmenite washing. It efficiently eliminates slime interference for subsequent gravity separation equipment including shaking tables, jigs, centrifugal concentrators, and improves overall mineral recovery rate. We also supply complete gravity separation machinery: shaking tables, spiral chutes, centrifugal concentrators, diaphragm jigs, spiral ore washers. We provide full set equipment and flow sheet design for alluvial tin & gold washing plants.
