Gold centrifugal concentrator Working Principle
It utilizes the principle of gravitational acceleration. The ore to be separated, in the form of pulp, enters the bottom of the double-layer centrifugal barrel through the upper feeding pipe. Under the action of high-speed centrifugal force, the pulp slides upward along the inner cone. Heavy substances like monomer gold precipitate between the lattice bars, while light substances slide upward and are discharged through the upper opening of the double-layer centrifugal barrel into the tailing tank. Pressure water enters the inner sleeve of the double-layer centrifugal barrel through the hollow shaft and sprays into the spaces between the lattice bars through the small holes in the inner layer, forming backwash water. This backwash water makes the heavier substances in the lattice bars deposit at the bottommost layer, and the lighter substances are continuously replaced by newly entered heavy substances.
Applications
It is suitable for the recovery of monomer gold in placer gold, vein gold ore, and polymetallic ores, replacing mercury plate operations. It can also be used for the beneficiation of gold-bearing heavy sands washed down by chutes and gold mining boats. In addition, it can be used in mineral processing plants to separate heavy minerals such as gold, silver, copper, and tin ores from lighter minerals.
