Working principle of spiral chute
The working principle of a spiral chute is to use the gravity of the material and the thrust of the spiral blades to move the material forward in the chute, achieving the purpose of separation [3]. Specifically, the ore slurry enters from the two feeding ports on the top of the spiral and generates an inertial centrifugal force in the rotating inclined flow rate. Based on the differences in the specific gravity, particle size, and shape of the ore sand, the ore and sand are separated by the gravity and centrifugal force of the swirling flow. The concentrate flows into the concentrate collector, and the tailings flow into the tailings collector.
