Brief Introduction to Equipment Required for Antimony Ore Dressing Plant.
1. Introduction to Antimony Ore Dressing Equipment Antimony and its compounds were first used in wear-resistant alloys, printing type alloys and the arms industry. With the development of science and technology, the application of antimony has been widely expanded to the following fields: flame retardant enamel, glass rubber, coatings, pigments, ceramics, plastic semiconductor components, fireworks, pharmaceuticals and chemical products.
Typical antimony ore beneficiation equipment configuration: PE jaw crusher, PEX jaw crusher, silo, electromagnetic vibrating feeder, ball mill, spiral classifier, flotation cell (roughing), flotation cell (scavenging/concentrating), thickener, filter/filter press, dryer. II. Features of Antimony Ore Beneficiation Equipment: Gravity Separation Equipment: Main Equipment: Jig, Shaker. Jig: Suitable for antimony ores with coarse-grained interspersed particles, it delivers excellent gravity separation results and is the most commonly used and core gravity separation equipment. Shaker: Suitable for antimony ores with fine-grained interspersed particles. Due to its large footprint and low processing capacity, it is often used as an auxiliary device to the jig. For ores with uneven coarse-grained interspersed particles, a combined jig and shaker configuration can be used to achieve higher economic beneficiation performance. Flotation is a key method for antimony ore beneficiation, particularly for ores with fine impregnation that are difficult to separate using gravity separation alone.
III. Antimony Ore Beneficiation Methods 1. Hand-Selection Principle: Utilizes the differences in color, luster, and shape between antimony minerals and gangue in the ore for sorting. Features: This method is primitive and labor-intensive, but it can produce large, high-grade concentrates, reducing subsequent beneficiation costs and energy consumption. Application: This process is often performed on a hand-selection belt, but can also be performed directly in the mine pit or at the mine entrance. 2. Gravity Separation Principle: Utilizes the high density and coarse particle size of antimony minerals to separate them from the gangue through gravity separation. Applicability: Applicable to both single sulfide antimony ores and mixed sulfide-oxidation antimony ores. Advantages: Low cost, wide processing range, and the ability to obtain large quantities of qualified concentrates at coarse particle sizes while discarding waste rock. Main Equipment: Jig machine (primary), shaking table (auxiliary).

3. Applicability of Flotation: Antimony sulfide minerals are easily floatable and are often graded using flotation. Process Example: Stibnite: Lead salts are commonly used as activators, although copper salts or a combination of lead and copper salts can also be used. The collector is often xanthate, or a mixture of shale oil and ethyl thiourea. Pine oil or No. 2 oil is used as a frother. Antimony oxide ore: A difficult-to-float ore, gravity separation is often used.
