Vibrating Screen

Vibrating screen is a core pre-processing equipment widely used in mineral processing, mining, metallurgy, and other industries. As a key link between the crushing and grinding/flotation processes, it plays an irreplaceable role in ore size classification, pre-screening, waste removal, desliming, and dewatering.

Driven by a vibration motor, the vibrating screen generates high-frequency reciprocating vibration through an exciter, which drives the screen surface to perform periodic directional movement. Based on the difference in particle size, large coarse ore particles are retained on the screen surface (oversize product), while fine qualified particles pass through the screen mesh (undersize product), thereby achieving efficient classification of ore and providing qualified feedstock for subsequent processes such as grinding, gravity separation, flotation, and cyanide leaching.

Jig machine, also known as jig concentrator or jig separator, is a core gravity separation equipment widely applied in mining, mineral processing, metallurgy, and coal preparation industries. As a key equipment for sorting minerals based on density differences, it plays a crucial role in the concentration of valuable minerals, waste rock removal, and roughing/cleaning operations, especially suitable for processing coarse to medium-grained materials.

The working principle of the jig machine is based on the alternating fluidization and sedimentation of materials in vertical pulsating water or air flow. It mainly consists of a water-filled jig cell, a horizontal screen, a pulsation mechanism, and a discharge mechanism. Driven by the pulsation mechanism (such as diaphragm, piston, or compressed air), the equipment generates periodic vertical pulsating water flow that loosens the material bed on the screen. Denser minerals sink quickly to the bottom of the bed due to gravity, while lighter gangue minerals remain on the upper layer, thus achieving efficient separation of valuable minerals from gangue.

It is mainly designed for sorting fine-grained minerals (usually 0.02-2mm) based on the difference in density and specific gravity between valuable minerals and gangue, playing an important role in roughing, cleaning, and scavenging operations of non-ferrous metals, ferrous metals, and non-metallic minerals.

The working principle of the spiral chute is simple and efficient, relying on the combined action of gravity, centrifugal force, and fluid resistance. The equipment is composed of a spiral trough, a support frame, a feeding device, a concentrate outlet, and a tailings outlet. When the pulp is fed into the top of the spiral trough, it flows downward along the spiral surface at a certain speed. During the flow process, denser valuable mineral particles are thrown to the outer edge of the trough under the action of centrifugal force and gravity, and finally flow out from the concentrate outlet; while lighter gangue particles stay in the inner edge of the trough and are discharged from the tailings outlet, thus completing the separation of minerals.
