Rotary scrubber Structure and Operating Principle
3.1 Core Structure
Screen Drum Assembly: The main structure is a sturdy steel drum, housing the following components:
Washing Section (first 7m): Equipped with built-in lifting plates and friction strips for material tumbling, crushing, and initial flushing.
Screening Section (last 3.5m): Equipped with a double-layer polyurethane screen for precise grading.
Tire Drive System: A motor drives the active tires through a reducer. The friction between the tires and the outer wall of the screen drum drives the entire screen drum. This system offers excellent cushioning and overload protection.
Frame and Support: A high-strength steel frame supports the screen drum and drive system.
Hopper and Discharge Chute: The feed hopper is spacious, with two outlets for different particle sizes, providing clear guidance.
Water Supply and Spray System: Internal and external flushing pipes are installed in the screening section for continuous high-pressure flushing.
3.2 Working Principle:
The material is fed into the feed hopper by a loader and then into the rotating screen drum.
In the washing section, the material is continuously lifted and dropped by the lifting plates, causing friction and collision between the materials, resulting in crushing. Simultaneously, high-pressure water washes away dirt and impurities from the surface of the ore.
The material then enters the screening section. Material that is smaller than the upper screen opening but larger than the lower screen opening (the middle product) is discharged from the lower outlet. The oversize material (the larger particle size product) continues to move forward and is discharged from the upper outlet.
